Story

Hanabi was raised in the Scarlet Shadow Ninja Clan, a ninja group renowned for its extraordinary martial arts and traditional weaponry proficiency. Hanabi was the leader of the clan’s favorite pupil as she demonstrated exceptional skill in the art of ninja when she was a little child.

Hanabi and Hayabusa, a fellow member of the clan, have a bitter rivalry throughout Hanabi’s training. Their competition is not just about strength; it’s also about getting the clan leader’s favor and attention. Despite their frequent rivalry, they also have a great deal of respect for one another.

But when Hanabi finds out that Hayabusa was sent to track down and kill Hanzo, the dissident ninja who used to be a member of their clan, everything changes. Because Hayabusa must leave the clan and may not return, Hanabi is confused and disappointed by this quest.

Hanabi succeeds in obtaining the fabled blade Higanbana, which is thought to have immense power and can only be used by a select few ninjas, as part of his mission to fortify himself and defend his clan. Hanabi is resolved to use this weapon to defend her clan’s honor and everything she holds dear.

Passive – Ninjutsu: Petal Barrage

Hanabi’s Basic Attacks and Skills will launch Petal Blades after hitting a target, bouncing up to 4 times to nearby enemies (the first bounce deals 40% of the damage, and subsequent bounces deal 85% of the previous). Bounces from her Basic Attacks inherit a portion of Attack Effects.

Skill 1 – Ninjutsu: Equinox

Passive: The secret Ninjutsu of the Scarlet Shadow makes Hanabi immune to control effects when she has a shield from any source.
Active: Hanabi gains a 300–600 (+40% Total Physical Attack) shield for 5 seconds. When the shield is active, Hanabi gains 20% Movement Speed, 25% Attack Speed, and 20% of damage dealt will also be added to this shield (only 10% of the damage dealt to non-hero units). The shield cannot exceed 50% of Hanabi’s max HP.

Skill 2 – Ninjutsu: Soul Scroll

Hanabi fires the energy Kunai in the targeted direction, dealing 450–600 (+80% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage to enemies along the way and reducing their Movement Speed by 60% for 1 second. Enemy units hit will also be marked, allowing Hanabi’s next Bounce Damage from Basic Attacks to deal 30–180 (+100% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage on them with no damage decay.

Ultimate  – Forbidden Jutsu: Higanbana

Hanabi throws Higanbana in the targeted direction, dealing 300–500 (+50% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage to the first enemy hero hit and immobilizing them for 0.8 seconds. After 1 second, Higanbana will bloom at the location of the first hit, dealing 300–500 (+50% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage to nearvy enemies. Subsequent hits on the same target decays 20% damage.
